The name of the restaurant is El Compadre Restaurant of Hollywood and it was very good (Mexican fajitas, tacos, ...).
The pictures are from the closest table for the Nightcrawler restaurant scene since the original one was taken.

I was surprised to find this filming location. I thought it was mostly filmed in Miami (Florida) but there are a couple of scenes filmed in LA.
