Last weekend, I tried my first ride with Waymo. The Google Self-Driving Car Project.
"Waymo, as of 2024, operates commercial robotaxi services in Phoenix (Arizona), San Francisco (California), and Los Angeles (California) with new services planned in Austin, Texas, Miami, Florida and Tokyo, Japan."
I recorded the trip (with some accelerated parts) where I was heading to Santa Monica downtown.
Destination: Barnes and Nobles, a bookstore.
I really liked the experience!
The trip will take a longer time but it seems to be safer.
It's more expensive than Uber or Lyft and the pickup locations are more restricted.
I will retry it in a couple of months to see the evolution.
Filelander 1.3
For this update, I’ve introduced a new "strategy" for the "Delete All Duplicate Files" button.
Previously, it only kept the last element in each list.
Now, there are four available options:
- Retain only the first ones
- Retain only the last ones
- Retain only the shortest full path names
- Retain only the longest full path names
